The third leg of a four stop circuit of the Honda Ski Tour arrives in Aspen in Colorado this weekend as sports fans and party goers prepare themselves for a lively two days of off and on piste entertainment.
Big names in the sport such as Aspen's very own Casey Plunkett, Stanley Hayer and Daron Rahlves who currently hold first, second and third places respectively, will be showcasing their skills and hoping to make progress towards the overall title, reports the Aspen Times.
There will also be a half-pipe competition featuring tour leader Simon Dumont among others, where competitors will be battling it out for the £16,000 prize.
For the non-participants, dance reggae superstar Sean Paul will be performing his biggest tunes long into the night as competitors and fans wind down after a hard day's action.
Aspen is one of the world's winter sports capitals and any self-respecting skier of snowboarder will be keen to visit at least once in their lifetime.
Its most famous asset is Aspen Mountain, which stands at 3,267 ft high and features a vast number of routes ranging from beginners to double black.
