A growing number of people are looking abroad for stag and hen party celebrations, it has been stated.
The wedding advice service Hitched.co.uk reports that because of this, those planning a wedding should factor in the cost of such events into preliminary wedding plans.
Francesca Moore, a spokesperson for the online resource, has said that the travel industry has responded to the interest in overseas matrimonial celebrations with a range of tailored group holiday packages.
"A few pints of Guinness in Dublin or the night life of Amsterdam are popular destinations for the stags. The ladies' choice might be a Spanish sangria, or trip up north to Edinburgh," Ms Moore commented.
Las Vegas and New York are also popular transatlantic destinations for those who dare to "splash the cash".
According to statistics from the Foreign Office, around 70 per cent of stag and hen dos are now held abroad, with Krakow and Riga cited as the most popular destinations by Lastnightoffreedom.com.
