A Suffolk television presenter has returned home after suffering from a serious accident while skiing in Aspen.
Sixty-year-old sports presenter Stuart Jarrold was skiing in a Colorado resort when he suffered an accident, which put him in intensive care for three days.
Mr Jarrold suffered a punctured lung, as well as ten broken ribs, the Evening Star reports.
The damage to his lung was so severe that it was a month before he was allowed to return home.
Speaking to the newspaper about the Aspen trip, he said: "I have skied many times, but this was my first trip there and it lasted longer than I had expected.
"But despite the accident I have good memories. The hospital was fantastic. They couldn't do enough for me."
