Newspaper Today's Zaman asserts that the country's culture and tourism ministry is to redevelop it former website so that information of interest to both tourists and tourism agencies can be accessed from one source.
Due to be called goturkey.com, the online facility will be available in a range of languages including Turkish, English and French and will provide information on the country's culture, history, shopping and a range of other topics, according to the publication.
The European part of Turkey is referred to as Thrace, while the Asian section is referred to as Anatolia or Asia Minor.
