Motorists are likely to feel most at home in Dundee but should try to skip Cardiff, according to new research on Britain's car-friendliest towns from Virgin Money Car.
The table was compiled by Virgin Money researchers awarding each town points on the basis of a range of different criteria.
Petrol prices, number of car parks, the cost of parking for two hours, the number of speed cameras on main roads and the level of car crime were among the categories that determined how car friendly a town was.
Only Britain's 50 largest towns were looked at by researchers.
Cardiff was pushed down to the bottom due to its large level of car crime, high petrol prices and average parking costs.
The country's capital did not fare much better, as London's high parking prices placed it at 47th, with only Cardiff, Nottingham and Birmingham being more car-unfriendly.
Dundee on the other hand performed very highly across the board, the report showed.
"Anyone who drives across the country will be familiar with the feeling that some towns just seem designed to make life difficult for motorists.
"Now our research shows which are car-friendly and which are not as friendly as they should be," said Jason Wyer-Smith of Virgin Money Car.
