The governments of Vietnam and Laos will increase their cooperation over the course of the next year with regard to tourism, it has been reported.
According to news agency Xinhua, the Vientiane Times recently reported that other sectors due to benefit from enhanced collaboration will include education, transport, trade and investment.
The agreement will see the development of a railway link between central Laos and Vietnam as well as increase their two-way trade to a total of $5 billion (£2.54 billion) by 2020.
