Visitors to Ho Chi Minh City can now enjoy free guided tours of the location, Thanh Nien Daily notes.
Some eleven students from universities across the region are offering a "pure Vietnamese day" and have so far guided some 30 groups of tourists around the area.
Group leader Lam Thi Thuy Ha told the publication: "It's very tiring, but lots of fun. The smiles we get from guests are the most rewarding part for us."
Sites on the tour include Notre Dame Cathedral, Binh Tay and An Dong markets, Can Gio and Cu Chi Tunnels.
Other attractions in the country tourists may wish to visit include the Oc Om Boc Festival, held in Soc Trang Province.
