Travellers to Vietnam in the near future will be treated to Carnical Ha Long festival, taking place in a north-eastern region of the country.
The event, reports the Vietnam News Agency, will feature performances by over 3,000 people, including people from neighbouring countries who will travel to the Quang Ninh district.
Festival-goers can join thousands of tourists enjoying the spectacles, starting on April 26th and continuing for six days.
However, those considering a trip to the country can visit festivals in Vietnam around the year - such as the Elephant Races which take place in the Don Village every spring.
Other events include the Perfume Pagoda Festival, the Ca'Te Festival and, later in the year, the family-orientated Mid-Autumn event which will happen in September.
Part of the festival includes Thrung Thu, otherwise known as Children's Day, where young people are given special cakes and dumplings, while parading colourful lanterns at nightfall.
