A new
car insurance policy could be a wise buy for those looking to invest in the world's cheapest car, which is set to launch today (March 23rd).
The Tata Nano is being manufactured in India and will launch in Mumbai today - but motorists have plenty of time to get the right cheap insurance as there is currently a three-year waiting list.
Priced at £1,400, or 100,000 rupees, the Nano has a 623cc engine, one windscreen wiper and no air bags.
Drivers can add air conditioning, a radio or power steering to the car's spec for extra cost.
According to the Times, it is expected that Tata will announce a lottery style system which will pick the first buyers of the vehicle.
As well as this, the firm is expected to set a high deposit on the car - possibly around £953, more than two thirds of the vehicle's overall cost.
Car insurance from
InsureandGo can cover any vehicle, from small and compact motors, to large luxury vehicles.
