The B1257 from Stokesley to Hemsley will be the target of an operation to limit the impact of speeding drivers, the Hambleton district council has reported.
The stretch of road has seen two motorcyclists die in separate accidents already this year, with a further three people having been seriously injured.
Operation Siren, run by members of the emergency service and the Hambleton Community Safety Partnership, will stop speeding drivers and give them a choice of a fixed fine of £60 or spending 20 minutes being educated on the dangers of bad driving.
