Teabags named top holiday essential

While sampling the local cuisine may be on the agenda for many holidaymakers, for a number of Brits nothing beats a nice cup of tea, a Which? Holiday survey has found.

According to MSN.com, 56 per cent of the 2,324 people polled admitted to taking some form of food or drink with them on their most recent holiday.

Teabags were the hot favourite, with a third taking them away with them, while coffee was also popular, with a fifth packing it in their suitcase.

Female holidaymakers were more likely to take away food and drink than their male counterparts, and the over 55’s were less likely to than younger travellers, the survey found.
