When visiting Quebec on a cruise, it is essential that travellers try the local cuisine, Destination Quebec has said.
Josephine Wiggall Lazarus, director of Destination Quebec, said that food is an important part of life in Quebec and although the dishes vary enormously, they revolve around the local produce.
Commenting on the type of cruise holiday the Canadian province offers, she said that people could either take a river cruise along the St Lawrence River or along the Hudson Bay.
Ms Lazarus added that certain routes will allow visitors to see a range of wildlife and natural habitats.
"We've also got the cruises in the far north, along the Hudson Bay.
