Edinburgh Airport has been voted the most family-friendly airport in the UK, The Daily Mail has reported.
A study conducted by flight comparison site Skyscanner asked parents to rate the food options, play facilities and security processes at UK airports to give an idea of which airports best catered for families.
With an overall score of 7.26 out of 10, Edinburgh Airport was the highest rated, followed by Glasgow with 7.18 and Liverpool with 7.13.
Skyscanner’s family expert, Mary Porter, commented, “We conducted this study following a consumer survey last year which saw 59 per cent of people state that UK airports failed to cater for families.
