As more and more holidaymakers are choosing to arrange their flights and hotel bookings separately, make sure you don’t get caught out by airline failures.
In recent years, several airlines have gone out of business and travellers have been left out of pocket.
InsureandGo travel insurance can protect you if an airline on which your trip depends collapses due to insolvency and financial failure.
Scheduled airline failure insurance covers you if an airline on which you’ve independently booked flights (not as part of a package holiday) stops trading due to insolvency. SAFI can cover financial losses if your flights are cancelled and you can’t get a refund, or can pay for a return flight if you’re stuck abroad and no alternative return flight is offered.
We can cover your kids for free!
If you’re going away with your children, we can cover them on your policy at no extra charge, whether you buy an annual policy or single trip cover.
We cover over 50 activities
All of our travel insurance policies come with cover for over 50 activities and sports as standard, so you can get up to more on your trip.
Airlines can and do go bust, so it’s important to have scheduled airline failure insurance to cover you if your flights are suddenly cancelled.
The insurance will cover you for non-refundable flight tickets in the event of cancellation before you travel, or the extra costs of a one-way airfare (similar to the class of the original flight ticket) to complete your return journey if the airline fails while you’re away.
Cover for airline failures is included with all InsureandGo travel insurance policies. The amount of cover varies depending on the policy level chosen.
