Mastering a set of skis can be tricky enough without having to master a complicated website to buy your ski insurance. Because we know you just want to get on and enjoy your trip, we've made getting ski holiday insurance as quick and simple as possible.
Our ski travel insurance is available for one-off trips or multiple trips throughout the year. We can even cover other activities like snowboarding, bobsleighing, and if you buy an annual policy, we'll throw it all in for free.
We also cover a whole range of non-ski-related activities so you can try something new while you’re away. For a full list of activities see our winter sports page.
(Note: Unfortunately, we’re unable to cover ski flying, ski jumping or ski mountaineering. Excesses may apply. For more information on what you’re covered for, see our full policy breakdowns.)
We can cover your kids for free!
If you’re going away with your children, we can cover them on your policy at no extra charge, whether you buy an annual policy or single trip cover.
We do pet insurance now too
So if you've got a cat, dog or rabbit that needs insuring, get them covered today.
Whether you take your own, or hire equipment from the resort, we’ll make sure your stuff is covered. For skiers this will include your skis, poles, boots and bindings, plus any helmets. We also cover snowboarding equipment for the shredders among you.
If you lose or have your pass for the ski lift stolen, we’ll pay you the unused percentage of the cost of your pass based on its value at the time it was lost or stolen.
Oh yes! We’ll even cover you off-piste.
As long as resort management have not identified the area as unsafe, then we’re happy to include all off-piste skiing in our ski travel insurance policies. So you can explore even further.
Don’t leave your stuff unattended in a public place! Although this is probably self-explanatory, remember to be cautious – relaxed holiday makers make easy targets for theft.
For our ski holiday insurance, public places don’t include the use of ski racks - so you won’t need to be on high-alert your entire trip! If you stop for a break between 10am and 8pm, just use the ski-racks as normal and we’ll have you covered!
Lastly, just make sure you let us know about anything that happens as quickly as possible. Any lost or stolen ski equipment must be reported to the police within 24hrs, so make sure to report any incident immediately to resolve the issue ASAP.
You can check through any exclusions you might be unsure of by checking our policy documents.
