Do I need a visa for Nigeria?

Yes, you’ll need to apply for a visa to be able to travel to Nigeria. It’s advised you apply for your visa from the Nigerian Embassy before you travel.

Healthcare in Nigeria

Healthcare facilities are not widely available in Nigeria, and they usually have long waiting times and can be quite expensive. Make sure you have adequate travel insurance that includes medical cover and repatriation, so you can rest assured knowing you’ll be looked after, should anything happen while abroad.

It’s important to make sure that you speak to your GP at least four to six weeks prior to travel, to check whether there are any vaccinations or other preventatives needed.
