Do I need a visa for the Philippines?

You can travel to the Philippines as a visitor and stay for up to 30 days without applying for a visa. If you’re planning on staying for longer than this, then you’ll need to apply for a visa from the Philippine embassy.

Healthcare in the Philippines

The standard of healthcare services and facilities can vary depending on where you’re travelling to in the Philippines. It’s much easier to find decent healthcare services in the larger cities, whereas in the more remote areas it can be difficult to find any healthcare services at all. It’s important to make sure adequate travel insurance with medical cover and repatriation if necessary, prior to travel.

Also, be sure to speak to your GP at least four to six weeks prior to travel to check whether there are any vaccinations or other preventatives needed.
