Do I need a visa for Cyprus?
If you’re a British citizen travelling to Cyprus, then you don’t need to apply for a visa. However, if you’re planning on staying for longer than three months, then you’ll need to check entry requirements with Republic of Cyprus High Commission in London.
Cyprus travel insurance FAQs

Everyone can get travel insurance for Cyprus. Our policies have no upper age limit and we have travel insurance for pre-existing medical conditions. Cyprus is covered under our Europe travel insurance, or you can choose a single trip policy just for Cyprus.
If your EHIC hasn’t yet expired, it will be valid in Cyprus. If it has expired, you’ll need to apply for a new Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) The GHIC will cover emergency medical expenses, but there are other costs that won’t be covered. It’s important to still have travel insurance in place to cover things such as repatriation.
Healthcare in Cyprus
British citizens should have their free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC), which can be used in Cyprus. This will cover any necessary treatments you may receive at public healthcare centres or hospitals on your trip. However, it’s important to remember to still have travel insurance in place to be able to cover the costs of any unexpected medical treatment the EHIC/GHIC might not cover, including repatriation costs.
