Snowboarding travel insurance

We know you don’t want to spend too much time thinking about travel insurance. You’d much rather be thinking about all that snowboarding you’re going to be doing! That’s why we’ve got you covered with simple and easy insurance. Our winter sports insurance covers snowboarding, glacier walking, skiing and many more fun winter sports activities.

So what exactly are you are covered for?

Insurance is always important but, when it comes to a snowboarding holiday, it’s vital.

If you were to injure yourself (which – let’s face it – is much more likely on the slopes than on the beach) wouldn’t you much rather know you’re covered than be left worrying about hospital bills?

Instead of just offering specific snowboarding travel insurance, we cover multiple winter sports activities at once, to allow you to try something new!

All of the activities listed in the policy documents are covered for medical expenses, although some activities do carry a higher excess. We’ll also cover your stuff. If you accidentally lose anything, or have your own equipment damaged or stolen – we’ve got you covered. We’ll even cover your ski lift pass.

Do we offer off-piste snowboard insurance?

Hoorah! Yes – we cover off-piste snowboarding and skiing.

As long as resort management considers the area safe, we’re happy to cover all off-piste snowboarding, so you can explore even further.

Is anything excluded?

Any lost or stolen snowboarding equipment must be reported to the police within 24 hours to be covered, so make sure you report any incident as soon as it happens. We will also need a written police report to accompany any theft claim.

Any snowboarding equipment you’ve left unattended in a public place will not be included under your snowboarding insurance. But we will cover equipment you’ve left in ski racks between 10am and 8pm. Always check that whatever snowboarding insurance you get isn’t going to sting you if someone takes your stuff out of the ski racks.
