Do I need a visa for New Zealand?

British citizens with a valid passport travelling to New Zealand don’t need to apply for a visa, and can stay as a visitor for up to six months. On arrival however, you'll need to satisfy an immigration officer with meeting the immigration rule requirements.

Healthcare in New Zealand

Healthcare services in New Zealand are available to UK citizens under the reciprocal health agreement. This means UK citizens who are visiting New Zealand and hold a valid passport are eligible for medical treatment. However, you should still buy a travel insurance policy that covers your medical conditions, as the reciprocal agreement may only cover immediate and necessary treatments.
